You can add money in your Amazon Pay and shop. But it has some limit for normal users. Like
- Normal User can not add money more then 10,000.
- They can not transfer money to bank.
- Even they can use UPI transaction
Normal users are nothing but unverified members of Amazon. Amazon follows RBI guidelines for users. You have to verified for accessing 1 lakh limit.
However, for more limit Amazon try to verify their customers. You should be verified. To enjoy 1 lakh limit. Amazon Pay is nothing but a digital wallet. You can add money and shop.
Increase Limit of Amazon Pay to 1 Lakh
You have to verify your account with KYC. For verification you need
- Smartphone or any phone that have camera
- Pan Card
- Voter Id Card or Passport (No Aadhaar Card)
Follow the steps to verify your account
Download App and Sign In
Click on Amazon Pay. If you do not find amazon and then click menu.
Now you can see KYC icon and click on it.
Now click on Upload Documents.
Then it will ask for :-
- Click a picture of yours and then upload it.
- Select picture or scan document of voter id /passport and then upload it.
- Select picture or scan document of pan card and then upload it.
Now it will ask to schedule appointment with agent then you have to wait for agent to come. Once documents approved then you will receive SMS. You have to wait 48 hours then you will get verified.
Getting verify does not mean that you can save black money in it. Your pan card holds every details of your income. This information is enough to get caught for frauds and then punished.
How to add money in Amazon Pay ?
Firstly, you have to open amazon app and sign in. Now, go to Amazon Pay and then click add money. It will ask you for amount and then press Add money.
You will be ask for choosing payment method. Amazon supports Debit Cards/ Credit Cards, Net Bank and UPI.
Choose any method and then it will ask for credentials.
